We went to Chick-fil-A on Monday for a playdate. Ezekiel had a grand time with all the kids, but I always find it funny that he enjoys the ladies the most. Here is our afternoon of fun.
Ezekiel has learned from Papa the joy of filling a bag with air and hitting it to cause a loud bang! He loves to do this and wants to pop any and every bag. Thanks Papa for this great noise maker:)
Friday night we headed down to San Diego to see Papa and Meme before they went to Baja. Ezekiel informed me that he had packed and this is what I found. Some dirty laundry inside the suit case and the rest of the laundry dumped on the floor. What a great helper!
We had a great time hanging out. Ezekiel especially had fun throwing dirt on Meme and of course, Meme retaliated. Can you see the large clump on Ezekiel:) He also enjoyed tapping the elbow before attacking her. He also enjoyed helping Papa fix a light. It was a great visit!
Here are some of the pictures from our week's playdates. We spent quite a few days with friends and had a blast. We also visited Disneyland as a family!
Today we had Daddy home all day. We had a great time going to the park, hanging out at home, and visiting the pool. It was a little late to go in the pool, but we decided to swim in the hot tub. What a great family day. Nothing beats kicking a ball with dad, climbing a tree, being thrown in the air, and swimming!
Today has been full of big boy events for Ezekiel. First thing this morning we went and saw Baby Case in an ultrasound. Ezekiel got to see his little brother or sister.
Next we went to the bank and started Ezekiel his very own savings account. He even threw a big boy fit and ended up spending some time in the car.
Finally we stopped by Costco and bought him the mattresses for his big boy bed!!!
We haven't done too much. This year has been a lot of the same events. Here are a couple pictures of what we have been doing.
Up at Papa and Meme's house Ezekiel spent an evening hunting golf balls. This consisted of walking the hill picking up golf balls- like an Easter Egg hunt. He had a blast and at the end of the hunt we found the lost basketball.
Ezekiel has also spent many hours enjoying his Christmas gifts. While I don't have a ton of pictures of his gifts in action- here he is enjoying the trampoline. I should have realized that he wouldn't just jump on it in an easy manner, but being all boy he has already flipped over the top of the bar, climbed up on the bar, and just enjoyed it in true boy fashion.
Finally, we made it back to Disneyland. Ezekiel had a blast and now loves walking instead of riding in his stroller- it makes for a slower pace, but an exhausted boy in the end!
