A Mountain of Fun

or at least a mound of fun. We discovered this fun mound of sand when we visited the park last week. Ezekiel had a great time playing with Miss K, playing with new made friends, digging in the sand, and climbing this sand mound.

Daddy Day

What a Father's Day. It was quite a relaxing day from about 2:00 pm on.

The morning was full of hustle and bustle. We went to church a little early because Ezekiel wanted to go see Daddy from the minute he woke up, so after getting everyone dressed and ready we headed to church. We had a great time and headed home to pack Ezekiel up. Around 12:00 Papa and Grandpa Great arrived to pick up Ezekiel. Ezekiel is headed to spend the ENTIRE week with Papa and Mimi all by himself. What a big boy he is! (Side note- on the drive up he went potty at Burger King and told Papa he had to go so they pulled over and visited the urinal!!!!! Finally making progress, a special father's day gift from Zeke!)

Next we spent the afternoon/evening with Grandpa and Grandma. Eli napped through out the entire meal allowing both Daddy and myself to eat and talk. Later we went on a nice walk and spent the evening relaxing.

Daddy also enjoyed a yummy treat while Eli enjoyed his hand!

A great day for a great Daddy. Ezekiel and Eli are blessed to have such a father that loves, cares, and provides for them. What a great dad- he enjoys his children, plays with them, and gives them so many reasons to smile and laugh!
Daddy got his gifts a little early due to the craziness of today.

A New Stage

We have reached the time where Ezekiel likes to take to bed with him his prize possessions. It is usually- blankie, doggie, and monkey, but tonight it was a baseball. He received it tonight at a baseball game he attended with Grandma and Grandpa and he is so proud of it. So of course he took it to bed with him. So sweet!

Floaxing...

a word to describe how Eli enjoys the pool. He floats and relaxes. We all had a fun time at the pool the other day. It was a little cool so it took some coaxing in order to get the boys in. We stayed a short time, but it was fun.

Outdoor Boys

Both the boys love being outside. Eli enjoys it so much the other night when Josh brought him in he actually threw a fit (as much of a fit that a three month old could)! He cried like crazy- it was too cute. So here are a few pictures of the boys enjoying the backyard.

Three Months Already!!!

Eli is officially three months now. It is incredible how fast it has gone by. Everyday that goes by is so much fun. He is now talking (babbling) a ton, laughing, and drooling like there is no tomorrow. He actually soaked his entire upper body and parts of the couch in about 10 minutes. He actually drools all the time and one holding him much be careful so that they too won't end up with a soaked shirt. One of my favorite things is to watch him sleep- he smiles through out his sleep and sometimes will even giggle. He also has a mind of his own. There are times when he wants to be held and nothing short of that is okay so he will cry and angry cry to let you know. What a joy Eli is- we love him so much!

Growing Big...

our grass that is. At least this is what happens when you fertilize it, leave, and have it watered everyday. This is what we came home to! Ezekiel loved helping Daddy mow this!

Seattle All Wrapped Up

So at last I will conclude our vacation. The original reason for the trip was Auntie Laura's Wedding. On May 30, Auntie Laura got married to Uncle Mike. It was a fabulous wedding that Josh officiated. Ezekiel was the ring bearer. The boys did awesome. Josh did a great job and Ezekiel pulled the flower girl down the aisle. It was a great night. Ezekiel was sooooo cute and posed great for all the pictures. I couldn't have been any prouder of my boys!
We also got to hang out with Josh's family.

The fabulous four.
Ezekiel cute as can be and Eli just relaxing.

Yummy food and a great big mess of his super cute tux.

Seattle's Sights

We hit a lot of Seattle's tourist sights. It was an amazing week seeing all that makes up Seattle. We had amazing weather and really enjoyed all Seattle offered.

The first stop was the Ballard Locks. Josh grew up really clos
e to the locks. We got to see 58 boats travel from one body of water to another. It was super fun seeing the amazing boats. We also enjoyed dinner at the Totem House, the best place for fish and chips!

The next day we visited the Seattle Science Center. I am not sure if Ezekiel or Josh had more fun. There were lots of cool exhibits to check out. We went through a room filled with dinasours, a room fill with butterflies, a roo
m with a bunch of cool insects, and lots of other fun things. One thing the boys enjoyed was throwing a wiffle ball to see how fast they threw- Josh was 77 mph and Ezekiel was 17 mph- we spent a lot of time there. We also all enjoyed climbing a wall. Tons of fun was had.

We also visited the Space Needle and took a harbor tour. We had such great weather that you could see all the major surrounding mountains. It was a fun time.

Last of all, we visited the Woodland Zoo, the aqurium, and Pike's Place Market. The zoo was great and we loved all the animals. The aqurium was okay for a short time, Ezekiel really didn't get to into the fish. Pike's Place Market was not a great place for a two year old, but we did see the pig:)
