In Honor of Meme

As a child I remember my mother coming into my room gathering up any items that were out of their place and creating a gigantic pile in the middle of my room. I then could not leave until every item was put away nicely in its proper place. I remember the pile being as big as me (exaggerated of course). Today I honored Meme by creating a pile for the boys...

Two Month Old Titus

The last two months have sped by! Titus is currently 14 pounds 3 ounces putting him in the 90th percentile. He is 25 inches long which is the 95th percentile and his head is in the 50th. He is a big boy! Titus also sleeps well. He is currently sleeping anywhere from 5 to 7 hours in one stretch. One night he went from 9 to 6:30- what a blessing. He is a fabulous baby that only fusses when he has gas, which unfortunately is quite often seems how he is a typical Case boy with frequent, smelly gas. He is such a pleasant addition to our family and we are so blessed to have him!

Titus' First Thanksgiving

Titus had his first Thanksgiving at Uncle Chip and Auntie Tiffany's house. It was a big event for him, he spent the day mostly sleeping and being held...

saying cheese...

pushing out dinner...

The other boys enjoyed sitting at their own table with Avery.

They also enjoyed playing with all of Avery's toys!

Gleanings

We went as a family to an organization called Gleanings before Thanksgiving. It was a time for our family to help this organization as they feed people all over the world. Ezekiel was SO excited to work.

Josh actually let him cut the mold off the apricots himself (using a box cutter)!

Ezekiel and Eli also got to play with a boy whose family serves full time at the Gleanings site. It was so sweet to see the friendship that was so quickly cultivated.

First Snow of the Winter

We got the pleasure of seeing it snow while we visited Papa and Meme. It was actually pretty fun. The power was out, the snow had fallen, and there was nothing to do but play...

Eli was feeling under the weather and DID NOT want a part of the play.

The kids, Papa, and Uncle Chip also built a snowman!

Avery also tumbled from the sled and was done.

Ezekiel had a grand time!

Titus Visits Tuolumne

Titus had his first visit to Tuolumne so that meant a meet the baby at Papa and Meme's house. We were visited by lots of family and friends. It was great to see Titus in such loving arms and surrounded by people that love and care about our family.

Working at the Car Wash

While visiting Papa and Meme the boys got to help Papa wash the trailer, or at least they got to play in the water.

The boys also enjoyed a yummy snack of peanuts. It has become a tradition to enjoy peanuts with Papa and Meme. It is great because you just throw the shells over the hill.

Of course, peanuts make you thirsty so drinking from the hose it just the way it is done in Tuolumne!

Pile of Sadness

I packed up the baby clothes Titus has outgrown and will send them onto another family member for enjoyment, but I didn't realize the sadness that would accompany this event. As I stood back and looked at the pile, and actually while I folded the clothes, I was overcome with thoughts and mental pictures of all the boys when they wore the different items.

I'll be honest, there were some outfits I just couldn't part with so they will sit in a bin in the garage until I muster the courage to part with them or come up with some way to use them in a crafty/saving way.

Swing Man

Titus is the first Case baby to enjoy the swing!

By the way, Titus is a serious man- he does smile, but it is not often. He prefers the serious, contemplative look.

Eli also likes to push him!

Brotherly love- We see this picture a lot. Eli LOVES his brother and is constantly kissing him and saying Hi to him.

Deep in conversation. I hope this is a picture of the bond that will only grow.
