Apples, Apples, Apples

We visited Glen Oak to go apple picking for the second year in a row. It is a fantastic family tradition that we all enjoy. This year it was doubly special because Papa, Grandpa, and Meme came along. We were accompanied by the Halls again, but this time we also went with the LeMonniers (last year we were at two separate farms only 100 yards apart).

We had a great time picking raspberries, apples, hanging out, getting super dirty, eating, drinking YUMMY apple cider, and taking tons of pictures.

Ezekiel and his girls!
Eli finally decided to sleep when we started picking apples.
Ezekiel LOVES tractors. See his pure joy!

Funny Things Said

by Ezekiel...

After having Ezekiel go potty in a used baggy (it had contained Oreos and a little bit of cookie was left) he looked at it and said....."Look a cookie came out of my penis." Then a few weeks later Ezekiel informed us while driving that he had to go potty, so we pull over, get out a baggy, and Ezekiel says...."I can't go, there is a cookie stuck in my penis" Totally serious.

Happy 6 Months

Who is Elisha Louis Case at 6 months?
A LOVELY baby boy. He seems to always be smiling, laughing, and sweet. He wants to do things himself- feed himself, drink himself, sit by himself, and stand by himself. He is now sitting and grabbing everything around him. He needs a good 2 foot clearance around him of anything you don't want him to have. He LOVES his brother. Eli will smile the moment he sees Ezekiel and will laugh for him at any time. What an amazing boy. He is so content and wants to see and know what is going on. He won't nap if there is something happening and wants to be around the action. He will cry if you leave him alone, but is okay if there is someone sitting by him. He loves to play with Ezekiel- meaning: he loves to grab all the toys and drool all over them. He babbles, drools, has 2 teeth, takes two naps a day, sleeps from 7-7 with a feeding at 10 and 6, likes to watch T.V., weighs over 18 lbs, will grab anything with in reach, can sit by himself, fell on his face today trying to grab a toy, loves food, wants to eat what you have, enjoys reading, has the nickname Squishy (mommy just wants to squish him and put him in her pocket cause he is sooooo cute), and brought something to our family that we didn't realize we were missing.
We LOVE our Squishy!

Attempted Family Pictures

We attempted to take family pictures, but the time was not too good. It was too bright, but hopefully we have some that will work. Here is a sneak peak at what we took- the best we will save for Christmas!

Pottying Pays Off

After MONTHS of frustration, TONS of laundry, BAGS of spare cloths for changing, and TWO parents on the verge of breakdown, we finally had a breakthrough when it comes to potty training. We started the marble system. Ezekiel gets a marble in a jar for going potty in the potty and when he fills it up he gets a toy........and.........

HE DID IT!!!!!!

Here he is with his full marble jar and the train set he bought with it!

Sweet success- for both parents and Ezekiel.

He is now working on a new jar to get more train track! Daddy is totally encouraging him (he really wants more track)!
Eli wanted to join in on the fun.

Ezekiel pouting because Eli was touching his train.

Eli getting a train of his own- so he wouldn't touch Ezekiel's.
