Starting Vacation

The boys got their own vacation this summer.  FOUR weeks with Papa and Meme...two and a half with out the parents.  So their vacation started with a trip up north in Papa's truck.

Then they got to enjoy a little of mommy and daddy time before their total vacation started.  We enjoyed some pool and pond time.

The City Provides

The kids were entertained watching the city patch the sidewalk.  It amazingly took 4 trucks and 6 workers to patch a 2 by 2 foot square on the sidewalk.

Of course, you need a snack after watching someone else work.

Happy 4th of July

We celebrated our independence with some old and new traditions.

An old favorite is the church family picnic...

We also hung out with the Halls and Cerios an old favorite....

Our new tradition was being part of our block party...
